Description
George Washington: Presidential Liverpool Jug. 9" tall creamware jug. One side features a transfer of George Washington surrounded by three goddesses, a cherub and a flag, within an oval that lists the names of the first fifteen states [June 1, 1792 to June 1, 1796]. The back side shows a three-mast sailing ship flying a sixteen-star flag. A transfer of an eagle with fifteen stars appears below the spout. Restoration to spout; otherwise, a clean example with crisp transfers.Auction Info
