Superb Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee Mezzotints.

Complimentarily framed and matted under glass to an overall size of 14 ½ x 16 ½-inches, view area 11 ½ x 13 ½-inches. Engraved and published by William Sartain, 728 Sanson St., Philadelphia. Both examples are after Matthew Brady images. The National Portrait Gallery dates the Davis to 1860 and Lee to 1865.
