WWII Poster: "This is the Enemy".

34 x 24-inches, artist Karl Koehler and Victor Ancona, lithographed by Grinnell Lithographic Co., New York. Winner R. Hoe & Co., Inc. Award - National War Poster Competition, Held Under the Auspices of Artists for Victory, Inc. Council for Democracy - Museum of Modern Art. Circa 1942. The savagery of the German army personified in the form of garish Nazi general whose monocle reflects the hanging of a civilian. A hard to find poster due to its popularity.

Condition: The poster has been stored folded. 3-inch splits in the folds along the left side with a small hole in the intersection of the folds. Very good.
