Description
Colt Detective Special Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter.Serial no. 769785 [crane and frame], .38 caliber, 2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Checkered walnut grip panels with inlaid Colt medallions. Sold along with factory letter dated September 14, 2007, confirming configuration and shipment information. Manufactured in 1960.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Few scuffs present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
