Description
Moore's Patent Firearms Co. No. 1 Derringer.Serial no. 2423, .41 rimfire caliber, 2 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Silver-plated finish to brass frame. Top of barrel marked: MOORE'S PAT. F.A. CO. BROOKLYN, NY and base marked: PAT. FEB. 24, 1863. Scroll engraving to frame and breech. Spur trigger. Checkered backstrap. Flayderman 8A-097.
Condition: Good. Overall showing noticeable signs of wear and patches of pitting. Traces of silver plate to frame. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
