Braniff International "Concorde" Exhibition 1/50 Scale Model, Heritage Ultra Livery. A dramatic and visually arresting large-scale Pacmin exhibition model of the Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde, finished in Braniff International Airways' signature Ultra Orange "Flying Colors" livery. Representing one of the most intriguing "what if" chapters in commercial aviation history, this model depicts Concorde in full Braniff corporate branding. Measuring an overall 48.5" x 20" x 48.5" while seated on custom display stand, the model features the iconic Concorde delta-wing profile, slender fuselage, and droop nose positioned in subsonic/takeoff configuration. The vertical stabilizer bears Braniff's bold white "BI" monogram against an orange field, while the forward fuselage displays the distinctive 1970s-era "Braniff" script. The aircraft is presented in clean flight configuration (landing gear retracted), consistent with professional promotional display pieces. On January 12, 1979, Braniff International inaugurated Concorde service within the United States under a unique interchange agreement with Air France and British Airways. Concorde aircraft flew supersonically from Paris or London to Washington Dulles, where Braniff crews assumed control for the subsonic segment to Dallas/Fort Worth. Previously exhibited at the Frontiers of Flight museum, this is an iconic representation of Braniff's vision. Minimal visible wear, very fine.
