Gene Cernan Signed Limited Edition, #1317/1400, Ron Woods "CDR Gene Cernan Apollo 17" Print. A 31" x 23" color lithograph of Gene Cernan holding the corner of the American flag on the lunar surface, signed in silver felt tip at upper left: "To Don & Brenda/ 'One Man's/ Being There.../ Apollo XVII/ Dec '72/ Gene Cernan/ Dec '92". The "Don" Cernan refers to is none other than comedian Don Rickles. This print was acquired from his estate. Artist Ron Woods worked at NASA for many years as a Spacesuit Technician; he suited crewmembers for Apollo 8, 11, 15, all Skylab missions, and Apollo Soyuz. Framed to an overall 32" x 24". Fine.
