A collection of memorabilia from the 1937 Greater Texas and Pan-American Exposition held at Fair Park, Dallas, comprising postcards, souvenirs, and ephemera celebrating the event. Following the success of the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition, this World's Fair-style exhibition promoted Dallas as the cultural and commercial center of a new Pan-American civilization linking North, Central, and South America. The exposition also hosted the Pan-American Olympics, an international athletic competition that served as a precursor to the modern Pan American Games. Includes:
