Civil War: Group of Five Union General Cartes de Visite [CDVs]. Nice collection of Brady CDVs depicting Union Generals Ambrose Burnside, Nathaniel P. Banks, Winfield Scott, John A. Dix, and George B. McClellan; each measuring approximately 2 3/8" x 4". One with backstamp for Brady's National Photographic Portrait Gallery, four with backstamps for E. & H.T. Anthony and Brady. Two with period pencil annotations on the verso identifying Generals Burnside and Banks. Cancelled two-cent U. S. revenue stamp affixed to verso of McClellan CDV.

Condition: Good, with some toning; light, scattered foxing or staining. Minor wear at the corners.
