Winfield Scott: Calligraphy in Original Frame. 17 1/2" x 22 3/4" (sight) portrait of General Scott in ink and pencil, featured at the center of an ornate closed calligraphic circle adorned with a swan and eagle. Doves flank the caption "Gen'l Scott." Housed in its attractive original wood frame to an overall size of 20 3/8" x 25 3/8".

Condition: Not examined out of frame. Lightly toned with minor soiling near the edges; pinholes from previous mounting at the corners. A few very light scuffs to the frame; minor imperfection in the glass at the top right (not textured on the exterior of the glass).
