Abraham Lincoln: Colorful Ohio Presidential Ticket. 4 3/4" x 8 3/4" beautifully custom framed to an overall size of 9 1/4" x 13 1/4". An exceptional voting ticket from Montgomery County, Ohio promotes the republican presidential and vice-presidential candidates for 1864 of Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson. The slate of electors are flanked by two America flags topped with Liberty caps, as well as a spread-winged eagle holding a sword and an olive branch in its talons, perched on crossed American flags with a bugle, hats, and drums above. Text along top edge reads, "The Union! - It must and shall be Preserved."
Condition: Small loss in the upper right corner affecting the the word "Preserved". The visual aesthetic of this handsomely designed ticket is superbly enhanced by the tasteful presentation in custom frame. Not examined out of frame, nonetheless, a magnificent display piece!
