Smith & Wesson Model 53 Double Action Revolver.

Serial no. K473784 [frame], .22 Magnum caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Checkered walnut grip panels with inlaid S&W medallions. Introduced in 1961, the Model 53 was built on S&W's K‑frame and chambered for the high‑velocity .22 Remington Jet centerfire cartridge.
