Carved and Engraved French Flintlock Pistol.

Unserialized, approximately .68 caliber, 11 1/2-inch octagonal to round barrel. Lightly carved floral scene to top of barrel. Smooth hardwood stock with decorative carvings to top of wrist and base of forearm. Elaborately scroll engraved brass triggerguard. Oversized brass grip cap with some scroll engraving.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action Functions. Moderately pitted bore.
