Description

Women's Suffrage: Exceptional Pennant. This fine artifact of the women's suffrage movement features a standing figure, representing Justice, standing on some steps and holding a mounted wreath emblazoned with the slogan "Equal Rights". The balance of the pennant reads "Votes for Women". It measures 9" x 29" and has two felt ties attached. Interestingly, the reverse side is printed with another design showing the Jennie Wade house at Gettysburg. There is moderate soiling mainly affecting the "Votes for Women" slogan. The overall condition is very fine. Deciding which side to display should be a no-brainer.
