Thomas Jefferson: Rare Brass Curtain Tie-Back Dating From His Presidency or Very Shortly Thereafter. Contemporary display items from the third U.S. president are prohibitively rare with the exception of the relatively obtainable Liverpool pitchers that are, nonetheless, quite expensive. This is an attractive and affordable option. It can be differentiated from drawer pulls with the same portrait by the longer brass shaft on reverse, over which the curtain would lay and by the absence of a loose ring (such as seen on the Washington example) to facilitate easier opening of the drawers. Choice condition. Diameter 2.25".
