Description

Boston Frigate Liverpool Plate. Many Liverpool jugs depict ships. It is rare to find a plate that does. This 9.75" plate shows "The Boston Frigate" with hand-painted highlights. It likely dates 1795-1805. Outside of a shallow rim chip at 12 o'clock and a very faint tight hairline on the raised lip, it is in great shape and quite attractive.
