Description

Horseshoe Recovered from the Little Big Horn Battlefield. This evocative relic is an iron horseshoe with one nail attached, nicely mounted and framed. A note of provenance reads: "This horseshoe was found on water ravine, Benteen-Reno Hill, near boundary fence in 1976 by Mr. Hank Weibart. The land is owned by Gilvert Bird-in-Hand, a Crow Indian."
