Description

Cased Custom Engraved Colt Single Action Revolver Belonging to Senior Texas Ranger Captain Clint Peoples together with a Typed Letter from Peoples Attesting to his Ownership of the Revolver and an Original Business Card While a United States Marshal. Serial no. 329001, .45 caliber, 5 ½-inch barrel. Custom scroll-engraved by Master Engraver F.E. Henricks of San Antonio. Nickel-plated finish. Ivory grips with Rampant Colt medallions and miniature gold Texas Ranger badges. Contained in original green velvet-lined walnut display case. Lower left and upper right vacant cartridge blocks in case for storage of 12 cartridges. Sold together with typed letter on United States Department of Justice, United States Marshal letterhead. Text written by Senior Texas Ranger Captain Clint Peoples, attesting to his ownership of revolver and another letter to the engraver requesting the work. Also included is an original business card of Ranger Peoples printed in gold ink, written while a U.S. Marshal. Official letter is numbered 004358 at the bottom. Condition: Excellent as refinished. Retaining approximately 99-100% re-nickeled finish with slight handling wear in evidence. Case with light wear and scuffs.
