Sandra Palomino has more than a decade of experience working with historical manuscripts, autographs, and rare books both via private treaty sales and auction. She has worked closely with private collectors as well as institutions here and abroad, most extensively with Fundación Castañe in Madrid, Spain. Her course of study at Yale focused on 18th and 19th Century American History. Her professional experience also includes direct marketing and public relations work with such noted companies as Rapp Collins and Donnelley Marketing.

Tom Slater began his career in early 1960s Pittsburgh, where he owned and operated half-interest in a retail coin store. In the 1970s he published nationally distributed auction catalogs, specializing in political campaign collectibles. A cum laude graduate with a BA degree from Yale University, Tom also attended Columbia University law school. He became a full-time collectibles dealer in 1976, and operated art galleries in Los Angeles and Indianapolis through most of the 1980s. He ran The Political Gallery throughout the 1990s, which evolved into Slater's Americana. Tom joined Heritage in 2004.

James Gannon received his degree from the University of California at San Diego, and subsequently worked in the entertainment industry for many years before finding his life's work in the world of books. The majority of Gannon's 16 years experience in the rare book trade was gained through his association with Heritage Book Shop in Los Angeles. He has a special interest in early printed books, travels and voyages, color-plate books and fine printing, but he has handled and cataloged volumes of all types.

With a Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the New School for Social Research in New York City, Delia E. Sullivan studied Primitive Art with Ted Carpenter and Shamanism with Michael Harner. She worked for 14 years at Christie's in New York City, seven of which were spent as head of the American Indian Art Department. From 2000 through 2007, Delia managed two auctions a year in that capacity, during which she significantly raised the profitability and reputation of her department.

Don worked as an antique dealer in Ridgefield, Connecticut in the late 1970s  and issued mail auction catalogs of Americana in the late 1990s. He was a founder and president of The Association for the Preservation of Political Americana which operated for close to ten years and has maintained continuous membership in the American Political Items Collectors since 1964. In 1995, he helped found “The Rail Splitter”, a hobbyist organization for Lincoln collectors which issues quarterly journals and periodic auctions. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief.  He has written dozens of articles on American political history and collectibles which have appeared in a variety of publications. He helped organize  three public exhibits:  the Dr. John Lattimer Collection at the Metropolitan Book Exchange 1995, Grant memorabilia at the Re-Dedication of Grant’s Tomb 1997, and the bicentennial “Abraham Lincoln in New York” at Federal Hall.

David Herskowitz began his career as a fine gem and mineral dealer in 1988. When he discovered a beautifully preserved insect in one of his stock of amber nuggets, he became entranced and switched his focus solely to Natural History. For many years he owned and directed a specialty business importing amber specimens before moving on to conduct Natural History auctions in New York City. An acknowledged leader in the field of fine Natural History specimens, from gems and minerals to bones and fossils, he has appeared on CNN, NBC, and ABC, and has been featured in numerous articles appearing in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and, more recently, in Natural History Magazine.
