Description:
Fascinating Arthur C. Clarke Signed Short Story. Typescript with ANS on title page for the short-short story "siseneG," double-signed, 2 pages, on dot-matrix printer paper and still connected at perforation. Clarke's handwritten comments read, "This is the only short story I've written in ten years or so. I think you'll agree that they don't come much shorter. Arthur C. Clarke 21 March 84." Following, lower on the page, "(Appearing in Analog, ? 1984) © Arthur C. Clarke 1984." Arthur C. Clarke was one of science fiction's "Big Three" names in the mid to late twentieth century. "siseneG" displays Clarke's little-known sense of humor and dry wit. This 31 word short-short was published in Analog magazine in May, 1984, and in book form in The Collected Stories of Arthur C. Clarke. The paper is in fine condition, with two horizontal folds due to mailing. Truly rare chance to acquire a wonderful double-signed piece from the man Ray Bradbury called "one of the true geniuses of our time."
