Description:
"One of [the] most celebrated works of modern SF."
Frank Herbert. Dune. Philadelphia / New York: Chilton Books, 1965.

First edition. Large octavo. 412 pages, including multiple appendices, plus a note about the author.

Publisher's light blue cloth with white lettering to spine. In original pictorial dust jacket. Light wear and edge-toning to the boards. Slightly skewed. Light dust-soiling to the text block edges. Internally, very clean. Dust jacket is a bit tired, with rubbing and light soiling. Very minor loss at the spine ends and corners, with well-executed clear tape reinforcements at these areas on the verso of the jacket. Overall, a very good copy of an exceedingly rare classic of science fiction.

"One of [the] most celebrated works of modern SF" (Barron 199).
